Few Steps to install Redis in Centos 7

A note to install Redis to new machine that running CentOS 7

yum install epel-release yum-utils
yum install http://rpms.remirepo.net/enterprise/remi-release-7.rpm
yum-config-manager --enable remi
yum install redis
systemctl start redis
systemctl enable redis
systemctl status redis

Basic settings for Redis

vim /etc/sysctl.conf
# sysctl vm.overcommit_memory=1
# echo never > /sys/kernel/mm/transparent_hugepage/enabled
cp /etc/redis.conf /etc/redis.conf.old
vim /etc/redis.conf
